Jaz Cornish completed her law degree at the University of Melbourne and practices almost exclusively in the area of Family Law.
Jaz is an experienced and highly regarded family law practitioner. Richard Hogan is an Accredited Specialist in family law and one of Australia’s most experienced legal practitioners. Prior to working at Cornish Lawyers Pty Ltd, Richard was employed as Special Counsel at Coulter Roache and as a barrister in Victoria, New South Wales and South Australia.
Richard has regularly appeared in the Federal Circuit Court of Australia and Family Court of Australia. He has also appeared before the Full Court of the Family Court of Australia in appeals from single judge decisions on issues of property settlement, spousal maintenance, child support, parenting orders, Hague Convention proceedings and various other matters.
Richard has particular expertise in complicated financial proceedings involving corporate entities, partnerships, trusts and matters involving bankruptcy. Richard is also experienced in farming matters.
Richard has also lectured at Adelaide and Flinders University and contributed papers on family law at conferences.
Richard is a member of the Law Institute of Victoria and the Family Law section of the Law Council of Australia.
Mali Cornish was admitted to practice in 2012 and has practised exclusively in family law since this time. Mali has a particular interest in complex parenting matters and has significant experience in relocation matters (including international relocation), Hague Convention proceedings, high conflict disputes and proceedings involving serious family violence.
Mali prides herself on her empathy towards her clients and her commitment to her matters.
